Ingredients

  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 lb fresh mushrooms
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp fresh thyme leaves

Instructions

  • In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and saute for about 30 seconds.
  • Add the fresh mushrooms, salt, and pepper and toss to combine. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 7-8 minutes or until the mushrooms are softened and browned.
  • Sprinkle with fresh thyme and serve!

Notes

  1. This recipe is buttery and full of thyme and garlic flavor. These would make a great Thanksgiving side dish, a side dish/topping for steak, or side dish for chicken or pork.
  2. Leftovers keep in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  3. You can use any type of smaller mushroom for this recipe, I used white mushrooms.
  4. Don’t forget to wash/rinse your mushrooms before cooking!
