Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound shelled deveined shrimp, cooked until pink

Keto Alfredo Sauce

  • 1/4 cup salted butter
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions
 

  • In a large, deep skillet melt the butter over medium heat. When the butter has melted completely and is bubbling add the minced garlic and sauté about 30 seconds.
  • Reduce the heat to medium low. Pour in the heavy cream and stir until the mixture begins to bubble slightly.
  • Stir in the parmesan and Italian seasoning. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Stir the sauce until a thick, creamy Alfredo sauce forms. Add the cooked shrimp and cook 3-4 minutes until heated through.

Notes

This recipe uses cooked shrimp. If yours is raw, you can sauté it in a pan until pink like in this Cajun Shrimp recipe or grill it like in this BBQ Shrimp recipe. This is very quick and can be done 1-3 days and stored in the fridge before making and serving this dish.
