Ingredients
  

  • 1 lbs fresh green beans trimmed
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • ½ tsp lemon zest

Instructions
 

  • Trim and wash your fresh green beans, set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the butter over medium heat. Add the green beans and minced garlic, and saute for 7-8 minutes, or until cooked but still crisp.
  • Toss in the black pepper, salt, lemon juice, and lemon zest and stir to combine. Serve!

Notes

  1. Leftovers keep in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  2. These green beans are crisp, blistered, and full of lemon pepper flavor! Perfect for summer. 
  3. Storebought lemon juice can be substituted if needed, but doesn’t yield quite as fresh flavor.
