Ingredients
  

  • 1 13.5 ounce package smoked sausage
  • 1/2 small white onion
  • 1/2 small head cabbage
  • 2 teaspoons cajun seasoning
  • olive oil for drizzling

Dipping Sauce (optional)

  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 1.5 teaspoons cajun seasoning
  • 1-2 teaspoons hot sauce
  • 2 teaspoons chopped dill pickle or pepperoncini pepper
  • 1 tbsp finely minced green onion

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Meanwhile, slice the half a head of cabbage into wedges. Brush each side with olive oil and sprinkle with the cajun seasoning. Place on the baking sheet.
  • Cut the smoked sausage into 4 sections and quarter the onion, slice little slits in the sausage.
  • Add the sausage and onion to the sheet pan.
  • Bake 20 minutes, flip and bake an additional 10 minutes or as needed until the cabbage has reached your desired tenderness.
