Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast
  • Garlic powder and pepper to taste optional
  • 5 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup cooked chopped bacon (divided)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons dry ranch seasoning
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Slice the chicken breast in half lengthwise, so you have thinner more uniform slices of chicken. Place in a lightly greased casserole dish and season with garlic powder and pepper to taste, if desired.
  • In a bowl combine the cream cheese, sour cream, half the bacon, mozzarella and ranch seasoning. Mix well and spread evenly over the chicken breast.
  • Top with the shredded cheddar cheese. Bake 30 -35 minutes until the internal temp of the chicken reaches 165 degrees F.
  • Top with the remaining bacon when finished.

Notes

There is no need to add additional salt to the chicken, the Ranch seasoning, bacon and cheese add plenty of salt to the dish.
