I have been working on compiling some of my favorite “not recipes” keto recipes and these Keto BLT Lettuce Wraps are the first on my list to share! I enjoy these for breakfast with a hard boiled egg or for lunch. They are a perfect easy way to enjoy a summer favorite without the carbs. Bonus points that they seriously could not be easier!
How do you make a Keto Lettuce Wrap?
These easy wraps have four ingredients, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. There is no right or wrong way to do this but I’ll share my favorite. I use romaine lettuce leaves and spread a nice thin layer of mayonnaise right on the leaf. Then I top it with crispy bacon, sliced tomato and then add salt and pepper. It is seriously the easiest and most satisfying keto wrap you can make.
What produce is best for low carb wraps?
Use whatever you prefer but romaine and butter lettuce work really well for lettuce wraps. If you want to add crunch iceberg lettuce is an excellent option too.
Depending on where you are on your keto journey you may be aware that tomatoes are somewhat controversial. Yes, tomatoes have carbs. Yes, I still enjoy tomatoes. I think this is just like any food, you just make sure it fits within your daily amount of net carbs.
I really love Campari tomatoes, they are not very acidic and they are small so I think they are great for portion control. It is the prime of summer so you may have a great farmers market near you, check to see if you can find any ripe heritage tomatoes like a purple Cherokee (they are not pretty but they taste amazing!) or a mortgage lifter, you won’t beat the flavor!

One of my favorite easy low carb dinners is this One Pan Cabbage Casserole. It is so easy, cheesy and delicious and it has less than 9 net carbs per serving. Some other favorites, Keto Chocolate Cookies, Pimento Cheese and Bacon Stuffed Peppers and Sausage and Cream Cheese Pinwheels!
- 4 slices of bacon, cooked until crisp
- 2 slices of lettuce (romaine, butter or iceberg)
- 4 small tomato slices
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- salt and pepper to taste
- Divide all of the ingredients to make two wraps
- On one lettuce leaf spread with 1/2 tablespoon mayonnaise, 2 slices of bacon, 2 slices of tomato and salt and pepper to taste
